Both parts of the event consist of a short keynote lecture and an interactive workshop part. In the well-known style of Benno van Aerssen, the participants will work in an extremely practical manner and receive concrete tools for their further innovation work.
Benno van Aerssen (born 1964) comes from an ancient Italian family of artists and grew up inthe Lower Rhine region. He is a lateral thinker, visionary, innovator, trainer and author with extraordinary creativity, ideas, passion and empathy. He has been working for many international companies and brands for many years.

The participation at the Innovation Workshop is open for all current and former students, researchers and co-workers of the materials science department of the Saarland University as well as for member of the EUSMAT partners.
